Public Appointment Vacancy – Appointment of 10 new members to the Board of the Construction Industry Training Board Northern Ireland (CITB NI) – Closing date Friday 8 October 2021
DfE is re-opening the open competition to recruit 10 new members to the Board of the Construction Industry Training Board Northern Ireland from Monday 27 September 2021 for two weeks. There arer 5 employer and 5 employee posts. Please note that the competition for 2 educational member posts is now closed. The process involves an application form and interview process. Appointments are made on merit and applications are welcome from all sections of society.
The appointments will be made in tranches between December 2021 and June 2022 and the posts attract remuneration of £77.50 for under 4 hours per day and £155.00 for over 4 hours per day. The CITB (NI) Board normally meets six times a year and as a member you will be expected to participate in sub-committees and attend events. The estimated total time commitment is approximately 15 days per year.
It is important that people from a wide range of backgrounds take up public appointments so that the Boards of public bodies reflect the rich diversity of our society and better understand the needs of the communities they serve.
