We are pleased to announce that Lorraine Shepherd has joined the National Association of Shopfitters (NAS) as our new Training Manager.
Lorraine has a wealth of experience, working most recently as Group Training Manager at DE Group which provides a suite of specialist services to the construction, rail and property development sectors. Prior to that she held training roles at O’Halloran & O’Brien, GAB Robins Aviation’ Loss Adjusters, and Wickes.
Her remit at the NAS will involve re-energising our training offering by designing and delivering a new skills strategy. This will include understanding the training requirements of our members and the wider construction industry, as well developing new training initiatives and working with external training suppliers as required.
NAS Director, James Filus, said: “I am delighted to welcome Lorraine to the NAS. Throughout the recruitment process, Lorraine impressed me with her knowledge and passion for training and development, as well as her enthusiasm and energy for this opportunity. I am convinced Lorraine will prove to be an asset to the NAS and its members.”
