Construction Industry Joint Council (CIJC) published the latest Working Rule Agreement setting the basic minimum pay rates from Monday 10th July 2023.
Key changes:
- 8% increase for the General Operative
- 6% increase for other roles
Based on a 39 hour week, this sets an Operative’s rate at £11.25 per hour, which is above the National Living Wage (£10.42), but lower than the London Living Wage (£11.95).
