International Decorative Surfaces (IDS) recently met with James Filus, director of the NAS, to talk about our new and innovative product called ClicWall which we feel has unique advantages to the shopfitting industry. We recently sent samples and a brochure to all NAS members and we wanted to write this blog to highlight the advantages of ClicWall vs conventional wall systems.
ClicWall is an immediate decorative wall system that is inconspicuously jointed to provide a very fast decorative wall structure in a fraction of the time required to create a conventional partition or wall. One of the great benefits is that it can be installed five times faster than a conventional wall system.
Due to the unique patented click technology, the panels click into one another seamlessly and provide the required result in a short space of time. Moreover, because ClicWall does not require any further finish, there is no clean-up operation and no dust or dirt during installation, once again saving on time. It also eradicates the requirement of wet trade.

A robust melamine layer ensures ClicWall has a scratch-resistant and splash proof surface. The layer is also washable, making it a very hygienic and easy to maintain product. It’s also an extremely resilient product, further emphasised with its fireproof credentials. Installed in a specific formation, it guarantees fire resistance of 60 or 30 minutes depending on the installation formation chosen.
ClicWall panel sizes are 2.785 high by 600mm by 10mm and can be fixed to timber and/or aluminium framework. Non-standard sizes are available on request. It has a screw-holding strength of 50kilos, and there are 12 decors available as well as a painting grade, available ex-stock exclusively from IDS.
