The Connect to Success NI portal was introduced in 2016 and allowed employers and training providers to advertise apprenticeship and work experience opportunities throughout Northern Ireland. Due to the software no longer being supported, the portal will close down on Friday 1st December 2023.
In its place, the Department for Communities’ (DfC) JobApplyNI website is an alternative free, straightforward and easy way for employers to advertise job vacancies and apprenticeship opportunities. The Department for the Economy (DfE) are encouraging all employers and training providers registered on the Connect to Success portal to consider using the JobApplyNI website.
To register on JobApplyNI, employers and training providers should:
1. Visit JobApplyNI
2. From the home screen, select the green log-in/register button at the top right-hand side.
3. You can then register your details with or without your company registration number.
Should you have any difficulties or questions when registering please email jobapplyni@communities-ni.gov.uk or telephone 02890 909327 (these details are also available on the JobApplyNI home screen). Once registered you can advertise your apprenticeships.
Alternatively, you may also find the following options useful for advertising an apprenticeship opportunity:
· Your own website.
· Via a private training provider.
· Further Education and Higher Education establishments (colleges / universities). · The UCAS apprenticeship portal
· Recruitment Agencies.
